Sparkshed is a browser-native electronics simulator that lets you design, simulate, and order real hardware — all from your browser. No downloads, no installs, no expensive software. Type what you want to build in plain English, and our AI proposes a catalog-grounded design with real firmware and analog simulation. When you are ready, order matching parts through our manufacturing partners.

What Makes Sparkshed Different

Verify before you build: Every design is simulated with real AVR firmware emulation and analog co-simulation before you spend a dollar on parts. Competitors generate designs without verifying them — you learn your circuit is wrong when you fry a part on real hardware.
Honest fidelity labels: Every simulation result carries a confidence score and unknown badges for thermal, RF, EMI, and supply noise effects. No other tool does this. We tell you what we do not know.
End-to-end: From a plain-English sentence to a simulated design to a kit on your desk. One tool, no fragmentation, no copy-pasting between five apps.

Sparkshed is designed for the classroom. It runs on Chromebooks, works offline, and meets WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards — a legal floor for the education channel under ADA Title II and the EU European Accessibility Act. Education pricing starts at ~$3 per seat per year with a free base classroom.

Technology

Sparkshed runs real engineering in the browser: avr8js for ATmega328P firmware emulation, ngspice compiled to WebAssembly for analog circuit simulation, and Yjs CRDT for real-time collaboration. The entire stack is TypeScript on React, deployed on Cloudflare Pages with Supabase for the database.
