Simulation disclaimer
Sparkshed ("The Garage") is an educational tool for learning electronics and prototyping. The in-browser simulator models digital logic and basic electrical behavior. It does not simulate analog effects (noise, parasitics, thermal, EMI/RF), does not certify designs for safety or regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, UL), and should never be the sole basis for life-safety, medical, or high-reliability designs.
Building real hardware involves risks: soldering burns, component overheating, battery fires, electric shock from mains voltage, and mechanical injury. Always work in a well-ventilated area with appropriate safety equipment. If you are under 18, have an adult present when soldering, working with batteries, or handling mains-voltage circuits.
AI-generated designs (Ask Genie, Copilot) use only real manufacturer part numbers from our catalog, but the AI does not guarantee correctness. Every design passes an electrical rule check and fidelity labeling before it is shown. Simulation is not silicon: a design that simulates correctly may still fail on real hardware due to component tolerances, wiring errors, or unmodeled physics.
